Yippeeee!

Good news!
Laura heard the good news today that there is no cancer on her lungs.

She also was happy to hear that she can participate in the research study. As part of that study, she's going to have to have another breast biopsy tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. Eastern. That biopsy determines which "arm" of the study she will be a part of. Being a part of the research group will allow her to be more closely monitored and she'll receive more attention.

The chemo education was postponed until they determine which part of the study she will be in. And, in all probability that class and the chemotherapy will begin this Thursday.

We're all hoping that the chemo doesn't interfere with our Thanksgiving plans and that Laura will still be able to be in charge. (Well, we SORT of want her to be in charge.)

By the way, Laura really appreciates all the notes and the kindnesses that you have given to her these past couple of weeks.

Hope to report more good news as the week goes on.

GREAT news, Laura!! I breathed a big sigh of relief when I read Carrie's "Yippeeee!" post just now. I'm sorry you have to have another biopsy, but if it will get you where you want to be in terms of treatment then it's the way to go. One day at a time.

Woo Woo ..That is terrific news!!! Laura, in your spare time (yeah, right)I have thought of something else for you to think about and make plans to do. Vera has NOT entered anything in the Fair in two or three years and, I think, that with a little planning and a tad bit of work, you can turn out some ensembles that would rival the Vera winners from the past. What fun is that!?!

Hola Laura, trying again, can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong, but there are probably several comments out there and I'm not seeing them and I work for a Computer Company - go figure. Carrie was kind enough to send me the link, I check it every day for the good news and you're in my prayers. My family sends nothing but good Cuban vibes! I especailly love the student comments. Thinking of ya, Rosa
