I Will Fess Up...

Here it is!

The famous FBC Cocklebur!

It has been safe and secure in a hidden area of my house.

Although now I am seriously considering putting it

in the safety deposit box.

As I read Margie's post, a new surge of power came over me!

Hopefully, the mere pictures will energize you all.

Love,

Laura

Gees louise, I had forgotten all about that little treasure. That makes me want to go to momma's house and dig out her fabulous FBC t-shirt. I haven't seen either in years.

And as New Year's approaches, I couldn't help but think of New Year's celebrations of years past. How did the infamous toast go- "To friends, these nights are kind of special." I need to use that one tomorrow night when the clock strikes 12. Have a great New Year's!

Whose wise-aker daughter is that????? It seems as though she thinks those toasts were...hmm not sincere???? And, I'll have you know, I probably am the only one to still have the black FBC t-shirt!!!!!!

"Here's to good friends tonight is kind of special." Lowenbrau first came out with that on a commercial.
I have used this for years and it seems to be acceptable. I can't believe you still remember that. Yes, tonight would be a good night to use it and I believe I will as I lift my sparkling grape juice to the new year.
You have also inspired me to look for my FBC shirt. Maybe pictures will show up soon. I DO STILL HAVE MINE!
As for the bid...I'd do something to tick you off and it would probably be worth a slam dunk...but actually that is a pretty good hand if I played them right. No clubs and 6 spades including A,K,Q....Unless you try to do some kind of weird something I believe we could win that round!

Oh Laura--you are dedicated--there is no way I would have kept up with a cocklebur dog-much less have "protected it" as well as you after all these years. Momma just told me the history of the dog--I think if I was given that as a Christmas present I would burst out laughing. What the crap? Gees I wouldn't even re-gift it. Hope ya'll have a great New Year!
