Coumadin

Update:

Laura spoke with the people at the Coumadin clinic this morning and it turns out she is actually supposed to be on the Coumadin for at least a month.

That's not sitting well with her.

Next round of chemo is Friday.

Please pray that she won't have to be on the Coumadin forever.
Please pray that doctors will give her some good information and help her make choices that are good for her mental and physical health.
Please pray for those of us who love her -- that we'll be helpful.

If you can, make her laugh. That's supposed to be good medicine.

GOFIGHTWIN!!

Laura...
OK, one of us has to fess up. Who has the most famous of all talismans ...more powerful than any mere amulet... capable of feats mightier than Arthur's Excalibur...none other than the FBC's cocklebur!!!!!!! Carefully preserved in it's golden chamber, it sat beside us guarding all who held cards from being slammed dunked, or uttering a 'pass' when in fact you had a legitimate bid.. need I say more to prick your memory??? It needs to come forth!!! Come out!! (uttering a phrase from Ernest Angley's TV appeals for demons to escape bodies of his parishoners) And, in the meantime, watch your favorite "I Love Lucy" episodes on TV Land's New Year's Eve marathon. Perhaps we can get a hold of some Vitameatavegamin that is the cure all of cure alls. I will be diligently searching all cracks and crevices for any and all of the aforementioned items. In the meantime, we're in your corner!!!! Love, Me!

Margie,
You're a good friend! I'm sure I would've enjoyed watching all of y'all play bridge and hang out. I love reading your notes to Laura.

Have a happy new year!
