Steve and I went to a "Get Started" meeting yesterday in Gwinnett County. Good thing we decided to go ahead and "get started!" For anybody else considering, there is a promotion going on for Mother's Day. You get $20 off the registration fee if you put in MOTHER in the promotion code blank. Also, if you don't want to raise the money but want to participate, you can register as a crew member. You just help out the whole weekend and get to be there for everything. This also includes your food and the tents. Emily, wants to participate but will be in SFO, she said that you can also volunteer (but still have to register) for one day or whatever. She is planning on working the one in SFO.
