A nice way to blow your nose...

Today I was wandering through Target and I happened to see a cute little packet of "Swankies."

What caught my eye, of course, was the pink ribbon. And, as you might have guessed, I felt like it was necessary to buy a pack. Just 99 cents and "a portion of the sales of this product will be donated to Breast Cancer Research"!

Maybe you can find a cute little pack somewhere near you, too!

P.S.
I also found out about the Breast Cancer 3-Day today...
Maybe we can all walk this year!!
Pick a site near you and help try to end this yucky disease.

Yo Laura! Well find a power curve and I am behind it. I have been reading all the posts just haven't had time to sit and actually make any comments. (Probably for the best because they could have been laced with holiday language and since these boards span all age groups, I thought it best not to blog my normal rantings and ravings and other ruminations.) It has been a typical January/February in the 'burg. Winter formal, Beach Week, and Big Kahuna contest, and now district and regional ballgames. Also, Georgia has been playing basketball on two leagues (mainly on Saturdays) and throw in a travel softball practice or two or three....in other words-same ole same ole. Fox is working on me a Go Fight Win visor for summertime running.. but you know me, I do have a problem with pink.. we may have to have it in a nice shade of periwinkle....someone with fashion style once said.... Periwinkle-it is EVERYONE'S signature color.... When it is finished, I will post a pic. I love the tissues.. If the burg had more upscale stores, I might find some...but alas, unless it is in Holland's or Ledbetter Drug, I will go sans pinkie hankies. But as for the walk for the cure, I have already investigated if they will have a 'Race for the Cure' on board the ship we will be cruising on Spring Break and they are so I will be running in honor of a charter member of the FBC!!!!!!!!! Cockleburrs unite!!!!!! Love ya and hugs to all!

I think you should embrace pink as I have learned to do. There's a whole lot worse stuff than wearing a little pink!:) Actually, periwinkle would look nice. Why don't you have him put that small pink breast cancer ribbon at the end of win? Or you could do what you want...since it is your visor. Good to hear from you. Wish we could fit in a bridge weekend sometime soon.

We're glad you're considering walking in the Breast Cancer 3-Day! You can definitely do it! The Breast Cancer 3-Day offers lots of tools to help you train and fundraise. And even if you don't think this is your year to participate as a walker, consider crewing or volunteering. You can speak with a Breast Cancer 3-Day coach at 1-800-996-3DAY to get a lot more information. Best of luck!

I want to do the three-day here in Atlanta. It's in October.
We should do it. If there are other people who are game, I'm in!
