December 1st is a day to remember.
Today is the anniversary of Rosa Parks staying in her seat.
It's also the first day of Hanukkah....
And!!
It's the day they found a donor for Laura!!!
Her donor is a 10 out of 10 match!
(Didn't I ask y'all to pray for a perfect match?!)
Thank you, Mr. or Ms. Donor, for your gift to our family.
Love,
Everyone who loves Laura.

I really like how you tied me into all the big stuff, Carrie! I know for me it is a big deal. I can't even explain or put into words the way I felt when the phone call came. All I know is I am blessed and appreciate all the prayers and support given by so many! Love you all.
Emily was the one who tied it all together. Isn't she clever?!
I'm so thrilled!
I love you, Laura!
I want a group hug! I love you all too!

the day that Laura got the call from Dr. Jani and had to cancel her trip with the students I couldn't stop crying. Today when I got the call from Laura that a donor has been found...I couldn't stop crying. I like these tears better!
Me, too, Sandra! Huggin' you from Bellingham!
She's got a long way to go but as I said in my email to the staff "she's on the right road"!!
